You halt the passage of time around a creature of your choice in range, putting them in a state of stasis.

If they are willing, they become

Stopped
for the duration. Otherwise, they must make a Wisdom saving throw, potentially becoming
Stopped
or
Slowed
.

Success. The target is unaffected.
Failure. The target is Slowed until the end of its next turn, at which point, it must make another Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it becomes Stopped for the duration of the spell, and on a successful save, this spell ends on that creature.
Critical Failure (–10). The target is Stopped for the duration of the spell.


At Higher Levels: At Level 5, increase the duration to Concentration, up to 10 minutes. At Level 6, increase the duration to 8 hours. At Level 7, increase the duration to 24 hours. From Level 8 onwards, the spell lasts until it is dispelled. Using a spell slot of Level 6 or higher grants a duration that doesn't require Concentration.
